Our 4-layer reusable nappy inserts are carefully designed to provide comfort, absorbency, and ease of use.
Each insert features two outer layers made from bamboo charcoal, which is naturally antibacterial, odour-resistant, and effective at concealing stains. Inside, two microfiber layers offer excellent absorbency and fast drying, making these inserts both practical and reliable for daily use.
Each insert measures 35 cm by 13.5 cm (13.78″ × 5.31″) and is suitable for babies weighing between 4 and 15 kilograms (8.8 to 33 pounds). These inserts are super absorbent and breathable while remaining soft and gentle on your baby’s delicate skin. They are machine washable, dryer friendly, and their dark colour helps minimize the appearance of stains over time.
Before using the inserts for the first time, it’s important to wash them to remove any manufacturing residues.
Be sure to wash dark colours separately.
Note that the inserts will reach their full absorbency after six or more washes.
To use, simply place the insert into the pocket at the back of a reusable nappy. If you’re using a wrap-style nappy, lay the insert underneath a microfibre layer for optimal absorbency. For overnight use or for babies who are heavy wetters, you may need to use multiple inserts for better protection.
After use, shake or rinse off any solids into the toilet as needed. Store used inserts in a dry pail and aim to wash them within one to two days to prevent odours and staining. Before the main wash, rinse the inserts in cold water. Wash them in the machine with water that is no hotter than 30°C (86°F), and avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as these can damage the material and reduce absorbency.
