Description
These boosters are made from three layers of ultra-soft bamboo, offering excellent breathability and comfort.
They measure 35cm by 13.5cm (13.78″ x 5.31″) and are ideal for use in pocket nappies and wraps. The inserts are both machine washable and dryable, with a recommended wash temperature of 30°C (86°F).
Before using the inserts for the first time, it’s important to wash them to remove any manufacturing residues and to enhance absorbency. For best results, wash colours separately. Keep in mind that inserts usually reach their full absorbency after approximately six washes, so a few early washes are beneficial for optimal performance.
To use the inserts, place one inside the pocket of the nappy through the back pocket opening. If you are using them for wraps, we recommend using a quick top soaking layer such as microfibre, with the bamboo insert placed underneath for maximum absorbency.
For naps, overnight use, or heavier wetters, you may want to use more than one insert.
When it’s time to wash, first remove any solids by knocking them into the toilet. Store the soiled inserts in a dry pail until wash day. On wash day, start with a cold rinse followed by a warm wash—no hotter than 30°C (86°F). For drying, the best option is to hang the inserts in sunlight, which can also help naturally bleach out stains. Alternatively, you can tumble dry them on low heat.
Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, and do not store dirty inserts for more than one to two days.
